Who are the founders of Hopeandbooth.com?
We are British brothers, Andy and Rob, who grew up together in UK in a loving family, south of London, England. However, we have been geographically separated since 1996, when Rob moved to Montreal, Canada.
It took the covid lockdown in 2020 and wonderful, family zoom calls to bring us closer together again, as family became even more central to everything during those strange times.
Why was Hope & Booth created?
As guys working in the creative industry for 20+ years, we knew the impact that tasteful, colorful soft furnishing designs can have in our homes to elevate them. It was important for us. But it was hard for us to find stylish, colorful furnishings for our own homes, such as duvet covers, shower curtains with matching bathmats, fleece blankets etc. Splashes of colour and designs that 'wake up' neutral rooms.
Our buying choices were typically:
- expensive, pretentious, intimidating, interior designer stores,
- cheap, giant, faceless chain stores with dull designs or
- huge online marketplace sites where the online experience is confusing, standardized and unpleasant.

So rather than complaining, we created our own home decor business based on the following pillars:
Design-led: So we searched the world, identifying colorful, unique, stylish soft furnishing designs that we loved, for our home decor products that could freshen up your living spaces & turn your visitors' heads.

Example of a recent happy customer - a recent customer asked us what type of butterfly was on their newly purchased Botanics shower curtain. We didn't know, so we joined a butterfly enthusiast Facebook group and identified it for her - a female silver washed fritillary ! We walk the talk and go above and beyond with our customers.
